Nanette Regan designs and makes soft toys and gifts from high quality linen and cotton. Her toys are made to be played with, cuddled and occasionally run through a washing machine. All the toys that she sells are safe for children of all ages.
Nanette grew up in Jersey, then spent six years in London gaining a degree in Painting from the Slade School of Fine Art and working as a prop-maker and scenery painter. She returned to Jersey and made it her home when her son was born. As a mother and a toymaker her aim is to create toys that are a pleasure for both the child and adult. The toys are purposefully simple so that they can be a springboard for the child's imaginative play. They enhance, rather than distract from the home when they are scattered all over the place. Most importantly, they are safe and washable. |
