In addition to the golds, silver and bronze we were awarded at this year’s Nantwich International Show it has also been announced that we have also won the The Devon Cream Company Award.  Awarded to the Champion Cream in Show – Jersey Dairy Single Cream.

At the Great Yorkshire Show pasteurised Whole Jersey Milk came top of its category, as did our group of four Luxury Yogurts. The Nantwich Show delivered gold and bronze for Low Fat Yogurts, a silver for Luxury Yogurt and a gold for Jersey Dairy Single Cream.

These awards for the Luxury Yogurts are the second and third UK accolade achieved this year since Jersey Dairy instigated a new consumer tasting panel. Following the first session and its focus on our yogurt range changes were made to the recipes in line with the comments collated from the panel members. The first award came at the prestigious Bath and West Show in June where again the yogurts reached the gold standard.

Head of Quality, Janet Wyatt, said: “We’re delighted to have won two more sets of awards at such important and prestigious shows and so close on the heels of the success of the Royal Bath and West Show.  Jersey Dairy is focused on constantly improving the quality of our ranges on sale in Jersey and also meeting the equally exacting standards required for export. We hope these awards will help develop national recognition of the range of excellent products available locally.”
