St Catherine's Farm and Craft Markets

Date: 01/05/2013 | Posted by John Garton
The first Genuine Jersey St Catherine’s Farm and Craft Markets takes place this Sunday, 5 May, from 11 am to 5 pm, outside Jersey Turbot, a family-run business started in 2000 by former deep sea fisherman Dave Cowburn and recently featured on ITV’s ‘Ade in Britain’.

In this stunning location, with its excellent views of the French coast, browse a variety of Farm and Craft stalls selling Genuine Jersey goods.

The Turbot Farm is uniquely located in a former World War II German gun emplacement and bunker at St Catherine’s in the east of the Island. Visitors will be able to take a conducted tour of the turbot farm which recently featured on ITV’s ‘Ade in Britain’.

Also, Simon the Sandman will be constructing a new sand sculpture next to the Turbot Farm, so you will be able to watch his progress throughout the season. With plenty of free parking in the area, take the opportunity to walk along the breakwater and then enjoy refreshments in the very popular Breakwater Café.

Time: 11:00 – 17:00

Price: Market – Free, £4 per person charge for the turbot farm tour

Place: Outside Jersey Turbot C.I., St Catherine, St Martin
